济源是河南省李子主产区。玉皇李又名黄甘李,是河南省有名的小杂水果之一。其栽培历史悠久,距今已有一千多年。相传济源县有座“玉皇岭”,山势耸立,式成一个自然山寨,李子就发源于此,故称“玉皇李”。 玉皇李果实外形端秀,近似桃形,颜色鲜艳,个大肉厚,气味芳香,甜酚适口,营养丰富。70一80年代,李子年产量在300万公斤左右,最高产量达450万公斤。



    Jiyuan City is a major producing area of plumes in Henan Province. Jiyuan Yuhuang Plume, also called Yellow and Sweet Plume, is a famous fruit in Henan, which has a cultivated history of more than 1000 years. It's said that there is a Yuhuang Ridge from where plumes stem. Thus, they are called Yuhuang plumes. Yuhuang plumes have fine appearance, peach-liked shapes, bright color, big bodies, thick sarcocarp, aromatic flavor as well as rich nutrition.
